About the Teacher

Veronica Anne Richards is a Suzuki violin
and viola teacher and children's choir director.

Veronica began playing the violin at age 5, and began to teach on a volunteer basis at age 16. She earned her Suzuki teacher credential with teacher trainer Sherry Cadow at the Colburn School of Music in 2011 and graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a BA in Music in 2016.
In addition to her classical training Veronica has performed extensively as an Irish/Bluegrass fiddler with her family band "The Brennans"
 
Apart from her instrumental work she has performed in many choirs throughout Orange County including the St. Augustine Choristers, the Concordia University Master Chorale and the Orange County Diocesan Choir. She currently directs the All Saints Children's Choir.
Veronica also teaches for Orange Coast Musical Arts, an after-school music program in and around Orange County.

When she is not playing or singing Veronica can be found dancing with her amateur folk dance group, horseback riding or directing yet another amateur film project.
